Brilliantly creative, they are willing to try new directions to tell you about software, and to get you to buy stuff!

Today is a perfect example of this. For every blog that posts a link to MacZot.com, they’ll drop the price by 5ยข! If they can get 259 blogs to post the link, AppZapper will be free to the Mac Community!

Guys - you’re awesome!

Masking Multiple Layers in Photoshop CS2 http://specialpublish.com/blog/2006/04/02/masking-multiple-layers-in-photoshop-cs2/ http://specialpublish.com/blog/2006/04/02/masking-multiple-layers-in-photoshop-cs2/#comments Sun, 02 Apr 2006 15:09:05 +0000 admin General Stuff Photoshop Tips & Tricks http://specialpublish.com/blog/?p=2 Sometimes you need to use the same layer mask for several layers. Here are 3 ways to accomplish this:

I. Select and Mask
1. Click on the layer you want to mask, making it active.
2. Command-click on the layer mask you want to copy.
3. Click on the Add Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the palette, and voila! your layer is masked.

II. Duplicate the Mask
1. Holding down the option key, click on the mask you want to duplicate and drag it to the layer you want to mask.

III. Masking the Group
1. Place all layers that you want to have the same mask into a group.
2. Click on the Group folder in your layer palette, making it active.
3. Click on the Add Layer Mask icon in the bottom of the layer palette.
4. Create your mask.
5. Now, all layers in this group, or any layers you add to the group, will have the same layer mask. This also allows you to have more than one mask on a layer.

Lynne’s Blog http://specialpublish.com/blog/2006/04/02/hello-world/ http://specialpublish.com/blog/2006/04/02/hello-world/#comments Sun, 02 Apr 2006 08:31:59 +0000 admin General Stuff /?p=1 I’m glad you’ve stopped by. This blog is an opportunity for me to provide ideas and discussions that will help my clients and others who may be interested.

The plan is for me to use this area for several things:
1.Website ideas
2. Photoshop Tips & Tricks
3. GoLive Tips & Tricks
4. Discussion about issues typically relating to the internet and technology
5. General discussions about stuff I find interesting

Being a visual person, and finding that as I get older, my eyes glaze over rather quickly, I’ll try to make sure that everything is relevant and to the point, especially in the tips and tricks areas. In the discussions, I may ramble some, but I’ll aim to be as concise as possible.

Enjoy!
